In this tutorial you will find descriptions of all the tools available in the Tool Box when editing reports.
To use any of the below tools, simply click and hold on the item you would like to use, and drag it onto the page.
The pointer is used to select object ont he page. You can use it to move any object my dragging it around the page, double click in text boxes to edit the text.

The check box will produce a small square box, and a label to use as a check box as shown above.
Use a rich text box for the main content of your report. You can insert Data Members from the feld list to autocomplete text such as adresses and names. For more information on the Field List please read our 'Field List' tutorial.
Use the picture box to insert images onto your report. Once you dragged the image frame onto your page, you will need to click on the arrow as shown below to choose your image. Choose your image by clicking the three dots as highlighted below.
Picture Box Tasks:
Image: Use this option if you would like to insert an image from your computer, once inserted the image will them be stored in the document.
Image Url: Use this option if you would like to insert an image which will be hosted at a remote location ie. a web server. Please note if the connection to the image location is not present the image will not be displayed.
Image Sizing:
Normal: The image will be displayed at its original size. If the picture box is small, it will cut off part of the image.
Stretch: The image will stretch to completely fill the the picture box's height and width.
Auto-size: The image will be displayed at its original size, and the picture box is not resizable.
Center Image: The image will always be centered in the middle of the picture box.
Zoom Image: The Image will always fill as much of the picture box as possible, keeping its original ratio.

Use the table tool to insert a table onto your page, similar so a spreadsheet style layout.
To insert new cells, columns and row, RIGHT click on a cell and select insert to view the options as shown above.
This tool will insert a line on your page. You can edit the properties of the line as shown below.
This tool will insert a shape on your page. By default it will insert an oval, but you can edit the properties of the shape, include the shape itself as shown below.
This tool will insert a barcode onto your page. You can change the properties of the barcode as shown below.
This tool will insert a zip code onto your page.
Use this tool to insert a chart onto your page. Once you have dragged the tool onto your page you will be presented with the chart wizard. Follow the wizard through to learn how to create a chart.

Use this tool to display different page info such as the page number, or the current date and time. You can change the page info preferences as shown below.
Choose what information is displayed using the drop down "Page Info" field or use the "Format" option to specify custom page info.
A page break forces the document to move onto a new page when being printed or exported, regardless of wether the current page still has space on it or not. Drap the page break tool onto the page where you would like the page to break.
