In this tutorial we will learn about the "Inspections" tab which you will come accross when adding a new Project or editing an existing Project.
To add a new inspection, click the 'Inspections' tab and select "New Inspection". To edit an existing inspection click "Edit Inspection".
To add a date and time for your inspection click the arrow next to the Date/Time field to open a drop down which will allow you to enter a date and time. Time must be entered using 24 hour format as shown above.
Use this field to enter the weather conditions on the day that the inspection was carried out.
When adding a new Inspection select an Inspection Type by clicking the arrow which will open a drop down menu containing a list of Inspection types. These can be customised in the configuration. See the 'Inspections Configuration' tutorial for more details.
To select the surveyor that will be carrying our the survey, click on the arrow to open a drop down menu containing a list of surveyors. You can add surveyors to this list in the Contacts section, for more information see our 'Add a new Contact' tutorial.
An inspection reference can be given to each inspection and entered in this box. This reference is entirely up to the user.
If you would like to record the temperature at the time of the inspection this can be recorded in this field.
Use this field to record the amount of time taken to carry our the survey. Time must be entered in minutes, for example if the inspection took two hours and twenty-five minutes, enter '145' as shown above.
Use the 'Inspection Report' field to keep track of your inspection notes.

Use the 'Action Required' field to make notes of areas that require attention as a result of the inspection.
You can also add up to five images to your inspection reports. To do this...
1. Open the image drop down box by click the arrow.
2. RIGHT CLICK in the drop down box to open the image menu.
3. Click 'Load' to open the browse window as shown below.
4. Select the required image
5. Click 'Open'
To add additional images simply repeat this process for Image 2, Image 3 etc.
