Downloading and installing the software
To install BC Manager Building Control Software, you will need to download the installation file by clicking here, or visiting www.buildingcontrolsoftware.co.uk/download in your internet browser, and clicking 'Download latest version'.
Downloading the installation File
If promted by your browser, click 'Save File' or the equivalent to download the file to your computer.
Installing BC Manager
Once the download has completed, visit the location that it was downloaded to and run the file.
If windows promts you with a message like the one shown above, click 'Run'. The installation will now begin.
Please read our license agreement and click 'Next'.
If you would like to change the default installation directory change this here. If more than one person uses your computer, you can also select wether you would like them to have access to the program here.
Click 'Next'. Once you are happy with your installation settings, click next again and BC Manager will be installed.
Once the installation has finished, click 'Close'.
Run BC Manager
Once the installation has finished, run BC Manager. You should have an icon on your desktop, otherwise you can normally find it in START -> PROGRAMS -> EDGESOFT -> EDGESOFT BC MANAGER. When run for the first time you will be asked to either enter a Company ID and Serial Number and activate, or run the demo.

Using a database with BC Manager
If you require data stored within BC Manager to be accessible on multiple computers, or in multiple locations (such as two or more different offices) we reccomend using a database on remote hosting.
